Common Policies/Regulations

Housing Agreement
The purpose of this document is to set forth the terms and conditions upon which the resident is required to abide by when living on campus. This agreement is binding and will be effective for the fall, spring, and summer sessions of the same academic year.

Alcohol
91探花 provides an academic environment that fosters good physical and mental health and educates students concerning the use of alcoholic beverages and peer pressure. Drunkenness as a result of the use of alcohol is a violation of the alcohol policy and is punishable through the judicial process. No immunity or exemption is granted for misconduct while under the influence of alcohol. Mature judgment and discretion are required at all times. The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on campus is permitted by those of legal drinking age. Binge drinking or related activities are prohibited. For the full stipulations associated with the alcohol policy, please view the student handbook.

Common Rooms
Students share responsibility for the common areas in their residence halls, including hallways, lounges, bathrooms, breezeways, kitchens, and any other location shared by multiple students. If items in the common rooms are damaged or stolen and the individual(s) responsible are not identified, the replacement cost will be divided among all residents of the room, floor, or building.

Laundry Facilities
The cost of laundry is included in tuition. Students have access to all laundry facilities 24 hours a day. All students should abide by shared laundry area guidelines, which are posted in their designated laundry room.

Lock Changes
If a room key is lost, the lock will be changed at the replacement cost of $100, which will be billed to the student's account. If a student fails to return their room key upon leaving the college, they will be charged this fee as well. Keys are not allowed to be duplicated by anyone other than the college locksmith.

Overnight Guests in the Residence Halls
Students are welcome to have overnight guests in their residence hall rooms and should abide by the following regulations outlined in the Student Handbook. Overnight guests are limited to no more than two consecutive nights, not to exceed ten per semester. Both the host and the roommate should both approve overnight guests being in their assigned room. All overnight guests should be signed in with Campus Safety upon arrival to campus. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to spend the night in the residence halls with the resident they are visiting.

Room Condition Reports
As students move into and out of their residential spaces, they are required to complete a Room Condition Report (RCR) to assess the condition of their bedroom and other common spaces. Students who do not submit a RCR via the online form within 72 hours of their move-in and move-out waive rights to appeals for any damage billing at the conclusion of the academic year.

Maintenance Requests
If a student needs to make a maintenance request for a damaged or non-working item in their room, they may report the problem to the Residence Life Staff or .

Quiet Hours
Students have the right to study and sleep in their housing assignments without disruption. Quiet hours are in effect for all campus housing from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights, and from 12 a.m. until 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Quiet hours will be in effect 24 hours a day during final exams beginning on the last day of classes for the semester.
