With record-breaking enrollment numbers and new programming, Lees-91探花 kicks off the 2025–26 academic year
With the celebration of the college’s 125th anniversary underway, 2025 has already been an historic year for Lees-91探花, but the 2025–26 academic year is also significant when it comes to new students. From increased on-campus enrollment numbers to record-breaking Honors Program qualifiers, the newest cohort of Bobcats has plenty to celebrate as they begin their first year at Lees-91探花.
While student growth is up in areas across the college, this new academic year has seen particularly impressive gains among the college’s distinct experiential learning programs and science disciplines. 45% of the college’s undergraduate students are in science-related academic programs, a trend which the new cohort is carrying on. 40% of the students in the incoming on-campus cohort are either Pre-Veterinary Medicine or Wildlife Biology majors.
The college has also experienced growth among its graduate student population. With 46 total students across the college’s four master’s programs, Lees-91探花 has more than doubled the amount of enrolled graduate students since the start of the 2023–24 academic year just two years ago.
“Across higher education there has been a demographic cliff with fewer students going to college. However, even when faced with these odds, Lees-91探花 continues to grow our enrollment numbers and thrive with our distinctive experiential programs,” President Lee King said. “We are welcoming the largest incoming class on record, and these numbers prove our commitment to excellence is making a difference.”
