Meet the newest members of the Lees-91探花 Alumni Board
The Alumni Board, the governing body of the college’s Alumni Association, has recently welcomed a new group of representatives. All Lees-91探花 alumni are part of the Alumni Association, and members of the Alumni Board serve as representatives for the college’s entire alumni community by facilitating college engagement opportunities and maintaining clear communication between alumni and college administrators.
Meet this new cohort of alumni representatives as they begin their tenure on the Lees-91探花 Alumni Board.

Ethan Cavenaugh ’14
Airport Wildlife Biologist – United States Department of Agriculture
“I deeply value the connections, experiences, and opportunities that my time at 91探花 provided me. Serving on the Alumni Board will be a meaningful way for me to give back, stay engaged, and help strengthen the Alumni Association for both current members and future graduates,” Cavenaugh said. “I am excited to help foster stronger ties between alumni and current students.”

Senior Account Executive – Corelight
“I’m grateful for a beautiful family and a fulfilling career, and I cannot look past Banner Elk and Lees-91探花 being part of that journey,” Morrell said. “With an outgoing personality, hard work, and passion to be appreciative of opportunity, I believe I can assist Lees-91探花 with further strategic initiatives in fundraising.”

“The four years I spent at Lees-91探花 are some of my happiest memories. Why wouldn’t I want to help be a part of that today?” Rees-Trask said. “I would love to be able to bring my skills and knowledge to the Alumni Board to show all that Lees-91探花 has to offer. I want to be able to share my experience at the school to inspire others to be part of the Lees-91探花 family.”

Meredith Pitman ’12
Senior Branch Office Administrator – Edward Jones Investments
Pitman’s current role in operations at an Edward Jones branch gives her a strong organizational and strategic foundation that she looks forward to bringing to the Alumni Board. She has a deep love for Lees-91探花, exemplified by her initial tenure on the Alumni Board directly following graduation, her time serving on the college’s strategic planning committee, and the excitement with which she approaches this latest opportunity.

Math teacher at North Iredell Middle School
“Being a teacher for 21 years now, I have developed a joy for speaking to people and helping not only my students, but parents as well as they plan their kids’ futures,” White said. “Driving around the Lees-91探花 campus, seeing the changes since I was there, sparked a desire in me to see what might be next.”
