Jess Bellemer to present about LTSA Adapts grant and e-book collection at Stephenson Center for Appalachia event
The Dotti M. Shelton Learning Commons at 91探花 has more than your typical library fare. Although the library is filled with shelves and shelves of physical books, an entirely other library of more than 200,000 e-books lives in the virtual world of the Shelton Learning Commons.
On Thursday, March 31 at 5 p.m., Director of Library Services Jess Bellemer will give a presentation about the college’s e-book collection in Evans Auditorium. Lees-91探花 students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend the event to learn about borrowing, reading, and taking advantage of all the electronic section of the Shelton Learning Commons has to offer.
This presentation is part of a project funded by an LSTA Adapts grant. This grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-250229-OLS-21).
